Entrepreneurial firm that is growing in the current market due to demand for its specialist litigation capability seeks to set up insurance/reinsurance practice to broaden its litigation and arbitration offering. Whilst the firm does not presently handle much of this type of work, it is keen to secure the services of a partner and ideally a small team. The focus will be to develop the London, US and some emerging insurance markets such as the Middle East in respect of insurance and reinsurance litigation and arbitration. The firm is likely to generate opportunities and leads for the incoming partner and support will be there to develop their practice further with the benefits of having the of a firm that has a successful track record of developing profitable new practice areas and cross selling them with its institutional clients. The firm is about to start expanding internationally and candidates will enjoy the benefits of this. It is likely that candidates are partners with broad experience and knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance sectors and seeking a new base for their existing practice outside of the main players in this sector.
