This highly commended commodities practice is rated in the Directories having grown both in terms of size and turnover. The firm has a strong commercial disputes practice encompassing both domestic and international work and thus remains widely unaffected by the downturn which is affecting others. The role involves a mix of work including oil & gas, soft commodities, metals etc and due to the size of the team, you will be exposed to high quality work and client exposure from day 1. To support the growth in instructions, they now require a lawyer with experience of contentious trade and commodities work. Applications from strong shipping/energy litigators who can demonstrate a keen interest in this area are also welcome. Would suit an ambitious lawyer wanting to work in a smaller team without in any way sacrificing quality of work.
