Our client is a leading set of commercial barristers’ chambers in London seeks a Marketing and Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Clerk and will be involved with all of Chambers’ marketing activities. This is, therefore, a broad ranging and responsible position where you will be involved in the whole marketing mix. The purpose of the role, in conjunction with the Senior Clerk, is to develop the marketing strategy for the set as well as for individual practices of each member. It will be essential to maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while assisting with the development and implementation of marketing initiatives which will secure new business from solicitors’ firms and other professionals such as in-house counsel and insolvency practitioners.
This role will be very client facing and will enable you to directly understand the clients’ needs. The position offers autonomy but also a lot of support and would suit an individual looking at taking the next step in their career. This is a new position so offers great scope for making the role your own.
You should be degree educated with a successful career in the professional services sector, preferably a law firm.
