This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, seasoned legal or legal support sales professional to work directly with the global leadership team, selling legal, intellectual property and compliance services to large corporate legal departments, patent departments and technology transfer departments. You will be responsible for building long-term relationships outsourcing UK and European legal work for appropriate large UK and European corporations and the law firms that support them. You will be expected to win repeatable 5-figure to million-plus pound legal outsourcing contracts including handling associated compliance and risk management, contract management, contract drafting, litigation document review, legal research and patent services, from UK/European in-house legal and compliance departments and UK/European law firms.
You will be educated to at least degree level, and possibly be an ex-practicing lawyer who has moved into a sales/BD environment. A minimum of five years legal or legal support sales experience (or relevant experience obtained in-house or in a prestigious law firm or other provider environment), with competence in one or more of compliance/risk management, corporate law, litigation/e-discovery and patent. In depth knowledge of the legal and/or legal support industry would be advantageous. This is a very rare opportunity to head up the UK arm of this leading global LPO firm at a time when the outsourcing market is rapidly gathering momentum.
