Mid-sized City firm with international offices across key jurisdictions seeks to appoint assistant solicitor with 4 yrs + experience of corporate matters. Matters handled include M&A, shareholder agreements and some general corporate banking and lending work. The firm has strong insurance sector focus but the corporate department is stand alone and advises insurance and non-insurance sector clients including VC houses, banks, private companies and accountancy firms. Candidates therefore likely to come from a mid-sized firm in London or the regions. The department is getting busier with an increasing pipeline of deals and the department is structured in a balanced way which indicates that there will be headroom for ambitious candidates to progress. The opportunity to travel and get involved with the foreign offices is also a possibility.
