Highly regarded New York firm with rated international finance practice is experiencing upturn in all of its departments in London which has resulted in the need to hire a number of additional solicitors. High on the priority list is the desire to hire an associate who is likely to be at a top Anglo Saxon or US firm in London. Candidates will have breadth of experience including acquisition/leveraged finance, restructuring, syndicated lending and other areas of banking and finance. Breadth of experience preferred to those with pure specialist experience. Candidates likely to have experience to handle matters individually and as a part of a team on broad range of work which will include high profile transactions for major clients. The firm has been relatively busy throughout the recession and highlight deals include advising bondholders on European restructuring work, debt restructuring related top securitized and non-securitized real-estate assets, setting up and operating a sovereign wealth fund, Shari-ah-compliant asset financings, setting up and restructuring revolving credit facilities, workouts and debt offerings. Excellent opportunity to join one of the leading US firms with a broad range of clients and sectors in which it operates with strong pipeline of work immediately available. There will also be mid-term prospects for ambitious associates and there is headroom to progress.
