Established West End firm seeks partner to join litigation department that handles a broad range of work including breach of contract, construction and engineering, insurance, planning and insolvency related disputes. There is also a specialist unit handling entertainments and IP law. The vacancy has arisen partly due to succession planning issues and the firm’s desire to have a generalist who could potentially be the next leader of the department. Candidates will need broad experience of High Court and Commercial Court disputes along with the a track record of generating work for your current firm through your network and experience of business development and marketing. The firm are keen to secure an individual who would relish the challenge of taking responsibility for the general commercial litigation practice with a view to capitalizing on the opportunities this area of law will bring in the coming years.
